We approached the Heifer International office renovation as a mission transla-
tion , transforming their ethos of CARING FOR THE EARTH AND EMPOWERING
COMMUNITIES INTO SPATIAL FORM.
We rooted the design in the literal and symbolic grounding of Heifer’s values.
Earth-toned textures, forest greens, raw stones, and timber elements echo
the soil, nature, and agricultural backbone of the communities Heifer
serves. The green marble and wood finishes are narrative tools, evoking relliance,regeneration and rootedness.
